About us

Welcome to Rocket Raptors.

Homeschooled rookie rocketry team · Reaching for the stars in 2026 🚀

Our story

Four friends. One mission.

We are Rocket Raptors, a rookie homeschooled rocketry team based in Central Florida and founded in 2026. We came together through a shared passion for space, engineering, and building mid-powered rockets.

What started as four friends who love rockets has grown into a dedicated team working together to design, build, and launch rockets while gaining real-world STEAM experience.

We’re excited to compete in the American Rocketry Challenge (ARC) and to learn every step of the process from the ground up. Proudly powered by Altair STEAM.

The competition

What's ARC?

The American Rocketry Challenge (ARC) is the world's largest student rocket competition for middle and high schoolers.

Teams design, build, and launch model rockets to hit a specific altitude and flight-duration target. By solving these real-world aerospace problems, students apply STEAM skills and explore future careers in the industry.
